When connecting your microcontroller, you have a couple of options. You can use straight pin connectors and solder it directly to the board for a perminate installation, or you can use pin headers. We personally prefer pin headers as it makes it easy to perform maintenance, and upgrade your keyboard down the road. We currently carry 4 options for easily removable headers, and one solder in option.
All headers are sold in a set, the solder in option is a single 40 pin row that you can break apart.
